Gretchen and Wade met at university, living in the same residence and taking a Philosophy class together. They became friends and starting dating towards the middle of her first year, and the rest is history!
From the moment I met Gretchen, I knew I was going to love this wedding. She was so much fun to be around, and we shared so many common interests that I felt like I was going to be shooting for a friend. Added to the mix was her flair for gorgeous details and a grey and pale pink colour palette that had me swooning, and the wedding certainly did not disappoint!
The decor at Nantes Estate reflected a tasteful, classic and minimalist feel in high summer, complimented by a clean, fresh colour palette.
Flowers from the incredible Fleur le Cordeur (if you haven’t booked a florist yet, get onto her website, stat!), a gorgeous venue in Nantes Estate in Paarl, superb light which made my heart sing, very proud parents, super fun friends; gorgeous grey bridesmaids dresses, and two wonderful people who married their favourite person. Congratulations to lovely Gretchen and Wade, it was my absolute pleasure to photograph your wedding.
